How the Application Works
The client application can only be used after entering a registration code provided by your organization's administrator. The application is not publicly accessible.
Upon entering the registration code, the app receives a unique identifier that is included in DNS Patrol logs. Activating the service routes all device DNS queries through DNS Patrol servers.
Data Handling
Client Application
The client application itself does not transmit or store any personal data.
Backend System
The DNS Patrol backend system archives all DNS query logs. Logs are retained for 2 years.
Data Access & Storage
- Access to DNS logs is restricted to CZ.NIC and organizational administrators
- All data resides exclusively on servers within the Czech Republic (EU territory)
- No data is shared with third parties
